The Marienberg region, hex 35,27 on the campaign map |
Jim, one of the commanders in the greater Campaign of Nations, has posted some of the details of this particular region as part of his after action report from a cavalry battle earlier in the Campaign.
The PART 1 section (click the link) goes over these details rather thoroughly I thought.
Most certainly the map of the region is likely to be put to use again ...
Hi David,
ReplyDeleteThanks for that. I wasn't really trying to do a campaign in a campaign, quite the opposite. However, it seemed obvious that a couple of engagements would take place around Marienberg (if the French didn't run away!) and the information was easily put together.
I posted this feature about your work Jim as I think that this region really has the potential for an amazing 2-5 day campaign setting ...
ReplyDeleteSo, let us write a new chapter for Duffy's Campaigns of Napoleon!
ReplyDeletewho is Duffy?
ReplyDeleteYou know, Christopher. That sharp gent we have lined up to write the narrative of the Leipzig campaign. I'm sure it will be a hit!
